Specifically hit by the social distancing regulations preventing thousands of Avon representatives from visiting their clients at home, Avon Lebanon team was very reactive in adapting to the situation. Speedwel put a series of measures to sustain the business while safeguarding the health of both back office employees and Avon ladies in the market.


Onwards and already up and running, the Speedwel team at Fattal reinforced a handful of powerful tools to incentivize Avon representatives: (1) Issuing a new online/WhatsApp unified promotional flyer with killer prices targeting representatives who, in their turn, relay it to their clients. (2) Advising Avon representatives to communicate with their clients by phone/WhatsApp using a set of new tools designed for that purpose. (3) Encouraging Avon ladies to place their orders on AVON website: www.avonlebanon.com and (4) Revitalizing online shopping through the Avon IM (Internet Mobile) brochure where clients can place their orders directly with Speedwel:

With this online shopping option available on Avon Lebanon social media platforms, the role of the Avon representative is still very essential explains Bernard Sayes: ”Our ladies still get their commission on the sale even if the order did not come through them. And this is managed through zones and areas”.


The Speedwel back office team is partly working from home with shifts to the office in order to respect social distancing. Products are sanitized and representatives are continuously advised to use all the necessary precautionary measures.”
