Going above and beyond the company's existing environmental practices to further conserve the environment, Fattal installed an on-premises institutional composting bin designed to tackle waste in an eco-friendly manner.

The ICB-4000 is crafted entirely from recycled single-use plastics. Unlike traditional composting bins that may deteriorate over time, Fattal's composting bin comes with a lifetime guarantee against mechanical damage.

With a capacity of 4000 liters, the ICB-4000 is tailor-made for small communities and municipalities. It can handle a substantial amount of organic waste, making it an ideal choice for reducing landfill waste at the local level. Implementing an on-premises compost bin reduces waste disposal costs, decreases environmental impact, demonstrates a commitment to sustainability, and will hopefully engage employees in eco-friendly practices.

Our collaboration with bin creator Ziad Abi Chaker has been instrumental, and we extend our heartfelt appreciation to Youssef Challita and his team for their contributions in bringing this project to life. We are counting on every single employee to contribute by throwing away their food in organic food bins situated within Fattal cafeterias. The compost that comes from the waste will be used for plantation purposes on premises.
