COVID-19 has been an obstacle for many businesses in many countries yet it did not stop Al Mouyasser Healthcare team from reaching its goals. The Fattal Healthcare affiliate in Iraq was able to inaugurate in June 2020 its state-of-the-art Pharmaceutical Warehouse in Erbil, a facility that was not only built with materials but with hard work, resilience, and courage involving the entire community of employees.

Serving customers during the warehousing transition period and insuring access to medicine to patients was a priority for Al Mouyasser Healthcare workforce. Accordingly, and thanks to the outstanding team spirit and sense of responsibility, all departments managed the situation properly and continued operating almost as usual. Warehousing and distribution operations were run, maintaining Al Mouyasser Healthcare high standards of quality and compliance despite the many challenges.

With a plot of 2,200 SQM (1,800 SQM storage area), Al Mouyasser Healthcare will efficiently cover the northern part of the Iraqi market. The warehousing facility is designed as per International norms of GSDP where a unidirectional flow is considered, including separate, well controlled dispatching and receiving areas. A continual monitoring system for temperature and humidity was installed based on appropriate mapping studies, a firefighting system was put in place, as well as dedicated areas for different types of products, including a 90 CBM refrigerator for cold chain products.

Al Mouyasser Healthcare’s objective was and will always be to contribute to the improvement of people’s life by ensuring access and availability to premium healthcare products with the best possible quality. With the newly built warehouses, Al Mouyasser Healthcare will be able to reach out to more and more suppliers, customers, and patients.
